Hide your hurt with a smile,
Wipe ur tears and,
Beguile the world with dreams of laughter.
Sing away while you have cried,
Laugh and take the world for a ride,
Into lands of happiness,
Into realms of fantasy.
Hide from the world, your soul, searing sorrow,
Enjoy and make the world enjoy,
As if there was no tomorrow.
And yet, accept the world's brick bats with a smile,
For sorrow too lasts for, like joy,
But for a short while...
